The Movie Room

The movie room is finally finished (well almost, we have one more poster coming). Sam and I made the frames for the movie posters at his house and I sanded and painted them. Becky and I Painted the room.

We got the cool "check mark"shelves for the dvds at IKEA!
We bought a HUGE sectional couch for the room. We just didn't get the corner wedge and left it as a big straight couch with a chaise at the end. Its about 14 feet long! It also has a sleep sofa for when we have too many guests to fit in the guest bedrooms, we can just make this another.

The Georgia Aquarium

The Georgia Aquarium is the largest aquarium in the world with over 8 million gallons of water and over 100,000 animals.

We have already been to the aquarium 3 times since we became members.

We have so many pictures from the couple times we've been ther that we thought we should do another blog posting just to put up more pics.





It was built right in the heart of Atlanta next to Centennial Olympic Park, Phillips Arena, The CNN Center and The Georgia Dome. Also they've almost finished building the new World of Coke museum right next door.

Georgia Aquarium... posting # 2

We had already become members and hadn't even been there yet !!!! (there was alot of hype) Let me tell you though.....This place is amazing. Even though we've already been a bunch of times and will gladly go again anytime you guys come to visit!



You get to walk through an acrylic tunnel (under the huge tank in the Ocean Voyager section) or stand in front of a gigantic acrylic viewing window (its 23 ft. tall by 61 ft. high!!!!), and you will feel like a scuba diver in an endless blue sea, mesmerized by nearly 100,000 fishes swimming overhead including whale sharks.... they are my favorite... or maybe its the beluga whales...... or the tropical river... or the hammer head sharks.. or .... can you tell I like this place :-)
