We went to Savannah Georgia for the day on Saturday May 20th. We got to visit Doug (bass player in my last 2 or 3 bands) and his family at his new house about 10 minutes from Savannah.

This city is very cool and rich in history. One of its more famous areas is River Street

. River Street is a cobble stone street with tons of restaurants and shops. There were a few candy shops where they make the candy right there that we visited.

I also got a picture of the pregnant lady (even though from far away) with a people bridge behind her. We did a trolley tour of the city and had dinner at a little place on River Street. All in all a very fun day. Savannah is about a 3 1/2 to 4 hour drive from our house.
